On August 11, 1973, Six years before it was formally called by the name Hip Hop,   It started out as a hobby for a young NYC DJ, Clive Campbell, AKA DJ Kool Herc,  At a young age, Herc who had moved to New York from Jamaica was heavily influenced by some of what was developing around him and he even began to run around with a Graffiti gang...eventually, he started throwing house parties and from these humble beginnings, the origins of Hip Hop started.......And though some wondered about it's longevity in its early career, Hip Hop is now seen as one of the top musical forces out there....We are going to talk to folks today who are involved in the game ranging from folks in Atlanta, Massachusetts, Florida, North Carolina, and other parts of the country.....Please join in the discussion and let's see how we feel about the modern status of Hip Hop....
