Addictions of all sort and type are so taboo... However, ALL of us either have had them, know loved ones who do, or are impacted by its effects. Marion is brave enough to talk about all the sides of how we get hooked on things, and how to come back from the dark side.

Join us as we talk about food, addictions, and how not to let either one rule your life. We hope to give you real-life scenarios that will inspire you to foster bright changes for you or those you love!

Marion Kane has been a leader in the world of food writing for over 30 years. Her work combines social commentary and a contagious, consuming passion for things culinary that has attracted a huge and loyal following. For 18 years, she was food editor and food columnist for Canada's largest newspaper: the Toronto Star. She lives in Toronto's Kensington Market and is currently involved in various projects as a food sleuth, broadcaster, writer and cook. Marion has completed several doc-style audio podcasts about food (see: marionkane.com) and has collaborated on a cookbook with FoodShare to be published in November, 2012. Her latest book "Dish" (Whitecap) is available on Amazon.com and her memoir is in the works.
