This week we have a special guest, successful Tulsa Real Estate Investor, Brent Doeksen. Brent has been a full time real estate investor since 2002. He has acquired over 30 single family homes, 3 duplexes, and 1 apartment complex. His main strategy is buy, fix, and hold, but he has flipped 3 properties. His target property is $125,000 house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in a safe area. Here is the financing he used: Traditional Fannie Mae 30 year fixed, home equity line of credit for entire amount, and commercial loans tied to prime with 20 year amortization. His goal is to own 100 single family homes or equivalent real estate. Brent's background: BS in Mathematics, Masters in Computer Science from Oklahoma State University. He has also been a member of Tulsa REIA for several years and we will be discussing Brent's strategy and plans as a Tulsa Real Estate Investor and picking up from our last episode with Brent last December.
