Should Unmarried Parents Receive Child Support?

I have observed and listened why child support is so beneficial towards the rearing of the child. If that was the case, then why are all the negative statistics regarding children in fatherless homes climbing? The children receive child support, but is that really helping. The out of wedlock rates are climbing, but the majority of unwed mothers recieve child support. Do you believe unmarried parents are entitled to child support?
