The Feminine Face of Power - Beyond the Wonder Woman Paradigm

In 1953 a man named Ashley Montague - that's right, I said a man - wrote a book called The Natural Superiority of Women.

Today, in 2014, we talk quite a bit about taking back and celebrating our power, but there are precious few of us who know that the heck that really means!

Mention "power" in a group of women, and watch more than a few of us flinch, because we have been schooled (as has the rest of the world) in seeing the negative side of power: the power-over. We have been schooled in seeing power-with as weaker. And so we flounder as we try to take our place of strength in this changing scenario called our world.
