"Just be yourself", I once said to a long-ago boyfriend, and he looked at me as though I had asked him to turn into a woman on the spot.
I realized that "being yourself" isn't a given, especially when we have practiced being what we think everyone else wants us to be, for a long, long time.
We have a true voice, true strengths, true aspects of our being, but we may not know it yet. Or if we do know it, we may have not yet accepted it.
Today's episode covers:
(1) The measurable states of being that reflect "who you are"
(2) Why that's true.
(3) Why we stumble as we try to assimilate these powerful states of being, and why that's not as bad as we think.
(4) How to start flexing the attitudinal muscles that allow us to just "be ourselves".
(5) What it looks like when we really are just being ourselves!
