Gleaning in God's field

In Matthew 13:44, the Lord Jesus Christ says (KJV)

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.

In the book of Ruth, chap. 2:2, Ruth the Moabitiess says " ...let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn...". 

Saints, in this life, the "field" that we choose to glean in, will either bring blessings or sorrows.
