Knowing God in the storm

The Book of Genesis tells us about Joseph, son of Jacob who was hated by his brothers, sold into Egypt as a slave, wrongly accused and sent to prison . Even though Joseph's journey was very dark, he  had wisdom from the Lord and discerned that God was with him. He prospered as a slave, he prospered in the prison. His journey took many turns, but there was one constant - God was with him. That was the anchor that kept him, and encouraged him to serve God despite his circumstances.
