This is a previous interview from the archives.

I first met Josie, with Beach Animals Reading with Kids  or B.A.R.K. last year at the Best Friends, No More Homeless Pets conference. Spotting her at the Family Pet Expo in Orange County was a happy surprise. Josie is an amazing person who tirelessly is there for animal / pet companions. It's really great to welcome her to the program.

This weeks blogs...

Some interesting articles this week, many more than I can talk about. So, here is a link to my "Scoop-it" magazine page. I will be posting several article each week as I find them.  Now, onto the selected few for this week. In their ongoing quest to rid us of puppy mills the ASPCA has joined forces with Facebook to clean up their online classifieds in: Facebook Says No to Puppy Mills. In Bellingham, Washington, Pierce County Courthouse will soon use a specially trained dog to provide a calming and comforting influence during interviews, arraignments, sentencing and perhaps even trials: Pierce County courtroom dog trained to comfort. From North County, San Diego, we have Brew Bones, packaged and marketed as dog bone treats made out of grains leftover from beer: ESCONDIDO: 'Brew Bones' dog biscuits made from grains used to brew beer. Now, when you go out for the night, what do you do with Fluffy? Leave her at home? I don't think so, in Los Angeles at the new L.A. Brewing Company, you have a place for Fluffy to hang with her peeps at: Brewing Company Hosts Dog Valet For Customers. Just make sure your Fluffy is properly licensed by L.A County, or you may have to run back home.
