This week I continue with interviews from my visit with Helen Woodward Animal Center. Robin Cohen is the Pet Encounter Therapy Manager and I spent some time with her at their learning center. What a great place, the classroom and pet area is home to various reptiles, rabits, guinea pigs, snacks, and a cockatoo named Bertie who has been trained to visit with patients that are paralyzed from the neck down, oh, and she loves attention! Join us as Robin gives us a tour and shares with us the passion she and her volunteer staff have for their work!
