Never in my life have I NOT celebrated a victory. Especially against a division opponent. Folks, the coaching staff did everything in their power to lose that game. They called The Run As a matter of fact... not to have an effective running game. The Running plays they called were basic and unimaginative with the exception of the fake sweep Chris Thompson scored the touchdown on. Rob just made it work with his effort and his refusal to quit. The running game did exactly what it was supposed to do yesterday, it wore down Philly's defensive line, it gave us time of possession, it gave us the lead, and it opened the pass up for DeSean to catch that 80 yarder..... not to be outdone, when we were up by 8 points in the 4th quarter, somebody on the coaching staff decided it would be cute to drop back and pass. Lets face it... no one wants to go into a post-game press conference having to admit they were wrong about the value of the running game. What happens? Pic 6! Philly is RIGHT BACK IN IT. I see a few trolls getting their Chris Russell trying to give Joe Barry credit. ?????? Ill bottom line it later.... but for now let's focus. Philadelphia has no respect whatsoever for our 4th Down defense.... why should he? We run a 3-4 without a nose tackle OR 2 capable inside linebackers. That's like running a triangle offense without a center. This is classic Redskin football, trying to squeeze a square peg into a round hole. But what should I expect from the coaching staff who didn't want Jamison Crowder on the team, and refused to sign Terrance Knighton after he killed the tryout. We have Chris Baker playing out of position, Bashaud Breeland trying to guard two people at one time, and the whole world knows what play our opponents are going to do on fourth-and-one and we are powerless to stop it. Joe knows we dont have a pass rush but instructs defenders to line up 5 - 6 yards off of the recievers as they get 8 -9 chunks of yardage at will.
