Zalamar Davis, better known as ZeeDubb, hails from Vicksburg, Ms, though currently resides in Arizona. In 2007,he began his rap career performing as a member of hip hop collective Flicka 2 a Flame Ent. and performing at open mics in Jackson making Seven Studioz his home. Soon after, he ventured into his first solo project, "The Voice of Abstract," (2010) which has garnered him notoriety on the regional indie hip hop circuit. Unofficially collaborating with Wu-Tang Clan/Wisemen producer, Bronze Nazareth in 2011, he released his sophomore project, far from a slump, The Bronze Mixtape: Mississippi Edition.
ZeeDubb's delivery style and subject matter on his newest project, "The Bronze Mixtape," percolate between rapid-fire braggadocio and smooth poignant insight into urban consciousness. Add a few dashes of witty wordplay and the pinch of flexibility needed to exit any collaboration as both a team player and lyrical champion, and you have a well-blended album sure to refresh hip-hop aficionados thirsting in the present desert of original music on the radio.
