The biggest take away I took from her story is how much she changed her mindset. She stopped dieting and started eating real food. When her brother also started eating real food, he lost weight but Kirsten said this profound statement about his weight loss, "I wasn't celebrating the weight loss but the years he added to his life." How true this is, it's not about the weight loss but about the health that we add to the years our lives when we eat healthy.
