I have been a writer since roughly first grade. I love journalism, but I believe in unbiased journalism, not the muck America's televisions and magazines seem to love to cram down our throats. I believe in journalistic integrity, and you cannot have integrity if you are simply pushing the agenda of the company you work for. You need to show all sides, fair and balanced. I am a freelance writer and blogger. My goal is to one day end Big Media and "raunch culture" as we know it. If I have friend requested you, it is because I want you to join my revolution to bring back what REAL beauty is about. I am about increasing the self-esteem and self-respect of young women and girls; spreading the word that they do NOT have to meet the unrealistic ideals that they see splashed all over the media. They are beautiful exactly they way they are. They also must never be afraid to show they are intelligent. Dont fall into the trap of having to dumb yourself down to get a guy to like you. YOU alone teach people how to treat you. Teach them to respect you. At the end of the day, your dignity and your integrity is all you have.
