Trish, Thank you so much for this post. I have an appointment tomorrow for an ADD evaluation and have been getting myself more and more worked up the closer I get to the appointment. I've been in counseling and on medication for Anxiety and Depression for most of my adult life (I'm 36 now). It just seems that no matter what I do I can't quite shake this Anxiety and Depression to live a normal life. It only recently came to my attention that I might be suffering with ADHD (my son was diagnosed a few years ago). All these lingering, stubbern symptoms that I just can't quite get past could be the result of ADHD, not anxiety or depression. The idea is exciting and yet terrifying at the same time. It brings up so many questions and concerns. Of course the closer I get to the appointment the more impatient I get to have my questions answered and my concerns addressed. Guess now would be a good time to practice those calming methods I've learned over the years during my anxiety counseling! LOL Anyway, I wanted to say thank you for brightening my day and giving me hope! Shannon
