Nandi Hetenyi is a psychotherapist, holistic life coach and yoga instructor with over 10 years of experience in helping people to heal, empower, enrich and transform their lives. She blends years of training in psychology, counseling and education with over 10 years of practice and study in Buddhism and Yoga to her healing work. Her diversity of experience, including working with heroin addicts, battered women, professional women, spiritual practitioners and seekers, couples, refugees, single parents, the bereaved, the dying, artists and economically disadvantaged has given her a unique perspective into both the human heart and psyche in our Western culture today.

She was invited to Delhi, India to present a paper she had written on applying Buddhist concepts to the Western theory of self-esteem. She is passionate about healing, transforming and alleviating problems related to self-esteem that give rise to much suffering, difficulty and disease in the West.
She completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara and continued on to complete an MA in Education with a concentration in multicultural counseling at San Diego State University. She is currently completing her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the California Institute of Integral studies and maintains a private psychotherapy practice, as well as a holistic coaching practice in the Bay Area.
