8:00 Pm Patrick's interview with Diane Echer

Diane Echer is a French-American born in Germany and raised in Europe, mainly in
France where she studied and practiced business law for twenty years. She became a
writer and moved to the United States three years ago. Her first novel, Vaults of Power,
came out last fall and caught the attention of many readers and critiques. Kirkus reviews
called it a summer thriller blockbuster, reviewers are wondering who will be starring in
the movie, and the President and Senior Editor of a major publishing house, FSG, said the
book was “hypnotic and (…) deeply shocking” while praising Echer as a “cool and deadly
observer of complex human relations”. Echer is currently working on her second novel.
