Stephanie Lema; Be Positive Mom, Entrepreneur

Stephanie is the founder and author of Be Positive Mom.com, a site dedicated to providing working mom support, inspiration and more for career women. Stephanie lost her sister Stacy to Ovarian Cancer in 2007 after a two and a half year battle with the disease. Finding comfort in writing, Stephanie launched Be Positive Mom.com a few years later, following the birth of her second baby. Blogging quickly turned into a way to support others struggling with loss, managing parenthood and navigating the career. After 14 years in marketing, Stephanie left the corporate world to launch Solutions That Soar, her company that offers business management support to other entrepreneurs. She attributes Be Positive Mom and her leap into entrepreneurship to her sister Stacy. Stephanie’s first job is “mom” to her two small children. She continues to manage Be Positive Mom in addition to growing Solutions That Soar. The experience of loss, grief and continuous recovery became Stephanie’s greatest life teacher and still serves as a continuous reminder to take courageous steps each and every day. “We may never know where life will lead us.
