The Traveling Eye concludes Black History Month with Captain Bill Pinkney, the First Black man of any nation to solo circumnavigate the world via the "Southern Route". At the age of 50, Captain Pinkney left his job as a marketing executive to sail around the world alone. An established yacht racer, he was motivated to make the trip as a benchmark for his then young grandchildren. Bonnie & Ja'Vonne talk to him about the planning, the actual trip and how he made history.
