Call in to speak with the host
In June 15,2012, the administration of President Barak Obama approved a program which will allow students who were brought to the United States by undocumented parents between June 15, 2007 and June 15, 2012 to remain in the US one of the requirements was, the student must be enrolled in school or have completed a general equivalency degree or graduated. I am sure a lot of families will be looking forward to take advantage of that program. For the past month or so we’ve heard a lot of talks about Education in the news and in most of the people’s conversations. But, some of us are interested to know of any efforts made in favor of the youth on a student visa and the status of Education in Haiti. To help us satisfy our curiosity we invited Mr. Ralph Cheriza, he is the president of the Haitian Empowerment Foundation Inc. He will talk to us from experience and with stories of the challenges, and positive results on the education of that specific population. Be on line with us or call in our conversation, it should be interesting.
