Shel Holtz advertised this as an opportunity for listeners to ask Wales questions. Then host John Havens drops the bomb that "no questions will be taken today". The old bait-and-switch. No surprise, considering the guest.

Google is one of the most successful (if not THE most successful) Internet properties of all time, and its search results algorithm has been crafted and improved with millions of dollars' worth of engineering. People trust Google results, because by and large, they are NOT gamed (despite efforts of spammers), and they are USEFUL and APPROPRIATE. It would seem to me that Wales is fixating on a Google "problem" (non-transparency) that is frankly just a non-starter issue. Tilting at

When one looks up "Rachel Marsden" on Wikia Search, among the many duplicate pages returned, none of the pages mentions that Jimmy Wales had an affair with her, which was carried in major mainstream media over the past month. Is Wikia Search censoring items that might bring disrepute to Wales, or is it just a sub-par search utility?
