Ann Burke, Co-Founder of the Lindsay Ann Burke Foundation and MADE (Moms and Dads for Dating Abuse Education) Joins us to talk about the pain of loosing her teen daughter to teen dating violence, to starting a national revolution to save the children of today. About Teen Dating Violence Statistics show that teens and tweens go to each other before they speak to an adult about issues concerning their relationships. Rather than get upset about this fact, shouldn't we as parents be proactive and make sure that teens are getting the right information? About MADE MADE (Moms and Dads for Education to Stop Dating Abuse) is aiming to ensure that every child in the country has the education and resources available to maintain healthy relationships, free from abuse and violence. By building a national coalition of dedicated members, MADE seeks to guarantee that every middle and high school in the country has a curriculum that addresses teen dating violence so our children can learn the path to positive, healthy relationships.
