Meet Angela Author, speaker, psychotherapist/life coach, Angela Caughlin is a luminary in guiding individuals and organizations through the difficult process of loss and change. She facilitates workshops and talks incorporating the principles of journaling, intention setting and conceptual thinking to shift thinking, promote healing and navigate change. Drawing upon her own personal experiences of 20 plus years as a psychotherapist(LCSW) and mother of three children as well as working with thousands of clients from all avenues of life, she awakens and inspires people to reach their full potential. Her broad experiences and expertise, both personal and professional, draws upon her years in the non- profit sector as well as working with healthcare, churches, and other organizations make her a valuable contributor and speaker to organizations. Her popular books, The Only Way Through and Journaling Through Loss to Transformation reflect her own personal wisdom of weaving a rich life of joy and fulfillment from the threads of personal loss through journaling. Her latest book, Journaling Through: Unleashing the Power of the Authentic Self: Seven Benefits of Unlocking the Wisdom Within (endorsed by the Chopra Center Newsletter), shows how to discover the connections between the brain, the body and our own personal stories and how to use journaling as a healing modality and powerful transformational tool to navigate change. Angela is a sought after speaker and continues to give talks and teach workshops that focus on integrating the mind/body/ spirit to create healthy living. Angela continues to maintain a private counseling/life coaching practice and work as an adjunct in the Transition Medicine Program at Baylor College of Medicine. Angela resides in Houston where she enjoys her family, friends, traveling and yoga.
