Carolyn Biggerstaff is a volunteer chapter leader for the Houston-Galveston chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation, a nonprofit charity founded in 1999 to promote education about health and nutrition based on the research of Dr. Weston A. Price. I have been a chapter leader for about three years but have been studying nutrition as it applies to health for over thirty years, buying organic foods and eating whole foods long before it became popular.
I am a volunteer educator, not a health professional. I was a senior financial analyst for a NASA contractor before my retirement in 2011 at the end of the Space Shuttle Program. I have attended many conferences and seminars and am always reading and researching about health and nutrition. In addition to membership in the Weston A. Price Foundation, I am a member of the Price Pottenger Nutrition Foundation, the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance, and the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund.
