Allecia Pottinger Primary Business is Project Vote is a national nonpartisan, nonprofit 501(c)(3) that works to empower, educate, and mobilize low-income, minority, youth, and other marginalized and under-represented voters.
Since 1994 Project Vote has developed state-of-the-art voter registration and Get-Out-the-Vote programs, and has helped register more than 5.6 million Americans in low-income and minority communities. Project Vote has also achieved a nationwide presence through long-term relationships with service and advocacy partners, and takes a leadership role in nationwide election administration issues, working through research, legal services, and advocacy to ensure that our constituencies are not prevented from registering and voting.

Thigpen & Associates operations as a full-service public relations and management services contractor began in 1988. The company was started by its current President and Chief Strategist, Dr. DeBorah Thigpen. She had a strong commitment to service excellence in the support of volunteerism and nonprofit organizations.
The successful implementation Dr. Thigpen’s commitment and the development of a corporate culture that stresses continuous Improvment enabled Thigpen & Associates to become a small business administration 8(a) certified firm. Thigpen graduated from the 8(a) program in 2000 after garnering the highest honor the Small Business Administration bestows upon successful firm owners, the 1997 Small Business Person of the Year.
