New Book Gets Your Thoughts Working for You, Instead of Against You CANTON, Ga., Nov. 16, 2010 -- Your thoughts mold your lifestyle. They also shape your mental, physical, relational, and emotional health. Caspar McCloud and Linda Lange, authors of the new book What Was I Thinking?, ask: What shape are you in? Presented in a reader-friendly discussion style, McCloud and Lange make a strong case that people must choose whether to follow the path of fear (stress) or the path of faith (truth). Understanding these links brings new insight to help people achieve healthier lifestyle results, emotional and physical healing, freedom, and greater effectiveness in life. Kristen Lucas is a Children's Book Author Shares Story of Pursuing Her Dream as an Outlet for Her Grief I am a former teacher and children's book author who found an outlet for my grief after suffering a miscarriage, quitting my job and having subsequent fertility issues. I threw myself into writing my book and that process helped to give reprieve from my fertility issues. A friend and I have put together a series of fundraisers by bringing women together called "Mamas Giving Back." For the cost of admission to the event the women who come hear me tell my story, receive a copy of my children's book, a goodie bag, and the rest of the money goes to a fertility research charity. This all stemmed out of a grass roots effort to change the dynamics of how fertility issues are dealt with and help women deal with the loss. I want to inspire other women struggling with similar issues and help them to find their creative outlet. It may be running a marathon, taking a dance class, or writing a blog, and we may not give birth to a child, but we can still give birth to a dream!
