Monique Rosario is a member of the repertory theater company "Playhouse West", a west coast division of Sanford Meisner's "Neighborhood Playhouse" in N.Y.C, and a graduate of The Upright Citizen's Brigade in Los Angeles. She studied advanced acting technique under Jeff Goldblum and on-camera technique at Margie Haber Studios. Ever eager to learn and grow, her independent study of the craft has led her to other great teachers and influences which have enriched and diversified her acting technique.

She's a Southern California native, but her Filipino mother was born and raised in Quezon City. Her dad is from Huntsville, Alabama. This all-star college hoop star crossed over into acting shortly after her mother's passing. She attributes her love for stories about strong women to the influence of her mother and Lola upon her life. Her most recent project, The Knockout Game, was selected to the 2014 Cannes Festival Short Film Corner.

Monique plays guitar and ukulele and enjoys writing songs about friendship, making love and suicidal caterpillars that hang in there. In her spare time she hits the hell out of the heavy bag, visits the gun range, and dabbles in interior design.
