Boxing recaps, previews and banter from boxing historian Patrick Connor and Bad Left Hook's James Foley

Upcoming Broadcasts

What in the boxing? Sometimes we're not sure if these kinds of frenzied, chaos-laden endings to fights that we got in Tim Bradley's win over Jessie Vargas on HBO are part of the frustrations or great things about boxing. Maybe both? Bradley survived a late rally by Vargas that ended with a referee mistake, leading to a prematurely-ended fight. It fed the post-fight discussion, but not in the most positive way. This week on Top Men Boxing Radio, James Foley of Bad Left Hook and The Fight City's Patrick Connor will toss their....however many cents out there, and will be once again joined by UC Davis boxing coach and contributor to The Sweet Science, Joel Stern. As always, join us live or catch us later on iTunes and other services. Thanks for tuning in! (Photos: Mark J. Terrill/AP/Chris Farina/Top Rank)

Did everyone make it out okay? Floyd Mayweather's win over Manny Pacquiao was an ordeal, to be sure, but it's over. We got through it with what should amount to minimal scarring. The public? We'll see. But this week on the show,... more

This is it. It is time. No more time left. It's almost here. Just a few days away. It won't be long now. It's just right around the corner. It's.... Sorry. We got stuck in a Hyperbole Time-Suck™ the big shots covering boxing like so much. More... more

Inside of the ring, objectively, it doesn't get a whole lot better than last weekend. Between Matthysse-Provodnikov and Terence Crawford vs Thomas Dulorme on HBO and Andrzej Fonfara vs Julio Cesar Chavez on Showtime, there was... more

At this point, with the schedule as full as it is, we should just dispense with the smart-alec remarks and sarcasm and just tell you what you should expect during the show. But we won't do that, because we're mouthy. Still, there's at least... more
