Scientists have done a lot of excellent work to build models of future climate states, however there are a few aspects of weather and climate that are very difficult to include in a model. The climate model that produced the "Hockey Stick" graph of future weather trends is really great at presenting the weather history of the past few hundred years. But when it comes to predictions, it lacks one key factor: the random, chaotic nature of extreme weather events. We'll be discussing the impact of Chaos Theory on future weather / climate predictions.
