    The Emmys Got the Message

Could it be that the TV world is getting smart about 'older' actresses???? Have they finally come to the realization that older actresses, with all their experience and talent, have wonderful insights into their characters and can give fantastic and eagerly watched performances? Are they one up on the Movie World high-rollers??? We think so, and we think it was proved the other night at the Emmy awards. And Co-host Debbie Zipp just got back from Amsterdam with a cautionary tale on letting your husband book your "economy room". And we’ll be talking about Pray the Devil Back to Hell, a documentary that is NOT to be missed. Listen in live or on demand at your leisure. Anything can happen when East Coast meets West Coast.

Can a Moment in Time Change Your Life?

Is it possible that one moment, one brief encounter, can change the course of the rest of your life? Our guest is Barrie Brett, an Emmy-award winning-television producer/writer who has just published her first book called “Moments of Being ... finding your one moment in time”. The book reveals true stories that altered lives forever. Celebrities, athletes, business and community leaders and men and women from all walks of life share their amazing ‘twist of fate’ experiences. These are stories of courage, destiny, reunions, love, sacrifice, dreams and the fears and triumphs which are an integral part of the human experience. More that that, they illustrate that by recognizing and acting on a single, pivotal moment, a person can change his or her life forever. Barrie Brett will discuss with us how to ‘Map Your Moment’ using the Three A’s – Awareness, Acknowledgment and Action. Join us for another great conversation.

Women's Travel Tips with expert Phyllis Stoller

Our guest, Phyllis Stoller has always loved to travel. Several years ago she started to put together travel trips for herself and her other women friends when her workaholic husband had no time to travel with her. She then stated a travel club for women, which became North America’s largest tour operator for women travelers. She sold it after 16 years. She was voted top in women’s travel by Travel & Leisure Magazine, and has shared her travel tips on The Today Show, CNN, and Lifetime TV for Women and is a regular contributor to The Three Tomatoes. These days she splits her time between homes in NYC and London, and takes friends on occasional small group trips to places she loves like India. We’ll be chatting with her about why women travel differently, traveling light, where to find women only trips, and countries you do NOT want to miss. We’ll be taking callers, so phone in with your travel questions for Phyllis. (347) 838-8868

Will our health care suffer? Is health care a privilege or a right? Join us for a lively debate as we try to unravel truth vs. fiction. And we’re inviting tomatoes to join in this week. Where do you stand? Call us at (347) 838-8868.
