Dismantling the Social Divides - The Symposium's Response

We are still on the topic of Multiculturalism in Church and will be chatting with a special guest, Rev Israel Olofinjana.

Israel Oluwole Olofinjana is a Baptist minister and pastored Crofton Park Baptist Church before becoming the Team Leader at Catford Community Church in September 2011.

He is Nigerian coming from a Pentecostal background. He holds a BA (Hons) in Religious Studies from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and MTh from South London Christian College. Israel is the author of Reverse in Ministry and Missions: Africans in the Dark Continent of Europe and 20 Pentecostal Pioneers in Nigeria. He has also contributed to academic journals and magazines on the subject of Black Majority Churches (BMC) in Britain. He is part of the council of reference of ‘Being Built Together’, a research project in Southwark looking into the history and practices of BMCs in that borough.
