You ever wonder why the Lords Prayer says this: Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us? In God's foreknowledge and wisdom He knew all of us would mess up or sin. So when we sinned or messed up, in order to get His forgiveness we would have to forgive each other. This helps us to grow and become more like Jesus and also to become forgiving as God is forgiving. Of course we don't do as well as the Lord. We are usually weak or resistant at forgiving. Depending on the offense. But He expects us to forgive, despite the offense. Take heed, you and I will mess up. So let's get real and transparent with ourselves and ask God to help us see ourselves so we stay humble. Humility invites God's kindness to help us in any sinful state. God's grace is sufficient for any sin. Plus Jesus has paid for it. So what should be our frame of mind when we mess up or sin? I will talk about that on Today's Word.
