Waiting on Unanswered Prayer and Contentment

When there is a delay in God answering our prayers we sometimes wonder if He heard us or, is He going to answer at all. Or if He really cares about what we are going through. In fact, the time between the time we pray. and the time we get an answer, can seem like a very, very, long time. Some of us are waiting right now. Some of us have been waiting a while. It not only seems like we have been waiting a long time, but it can be a very trying time. Especially when what we are praying for really causes us great discomfort. How long does it take to heal a broken heart? How long does it take to have a happy, fulfilling relationship or marriage? How long does it take to be healed of a chronic condition. How long does it take to get a financial blessing to get out of debt? Well, as the saying goes: "Only God Knows For Sure". In this vacum of unanswered prayer what do we do besides wonder and get doubtful? I will talk about this on Today's Word.
