Why is it difficult to tell someone about a personal hygiene

We've all been there.... smelled body odor or bad breath on a friend or acquaintance and didn't say anything. Why not?  Or even seen dandruff on the shoulder when you saw the ring around the collar. Are you considered a true friend to him or her when you don't mention it? Tune in and we will see how we all can become a better friend.
