Call in to speak with the host
Today, as we debate the issue of education, I am reminded of the Apostle Paul who, in the closing days of his life, wrote an intense but sobering letter to his son in ministry, Timothy. What great joy and apprehension Paul must have experienced as he penned his thoughts to Timothy. As he prepared to move off the scene, he wanted to share with Timothy what challenges he sees ahead for him and those who would teach in the generations to come.
This week on Breakfast Talk we want to explore the challenge from Paul to Timothy on the importance of knowledge and teaching and mentoring others. Join us for an exciting study as we broadcast from Bronx, New York with our special guest, Devyn Humphrey, who works for a charter school management organization who believes that “all children, regardless of race or economic status, can succeed if they have access to a great education.”
It's good to talk.
