I have been busy the last couple of days looking for a good hosting company that is affordable, offers good customer service, uses cPanel, offers Fantastico, has good bandwidth deals, and also gets good honest reviews. After quite a bit of looking I think I found a good one:

Now, looking for reviews online for hosting companies is not all that easy because if you do a search for hosting reviews you will get a bunch of results that are just people who are trying to get you to buy something. There are a few pretty good hosting review sites, but even at these there is a biased opinion many times that comes from competitors of the company being reviewed.

However, if you can find threads at webmasters forum, where a member makes a good comment on a comapny and they are not promoting a hosting company in their signature, then that review or recommendation holds more weight than many. I found a few of these for HostRocket.

I am looking for a good host because I am currently testing out an idea I have had and seeing if it is worth pursuing. Basically I am making blogs for people and then working on creating search engine traffic to them. In fact I am guaranteeing them a certain amount of traffic. This idea may not be worth my time, but it is definately a great deal for the buyers. But I wanted to make sure they use a good hosting comapny.

I was looking for a hosting comapny that uses cPanel and Fantastico as I find these two tools an almost must have for creating blogs. Well, for me anyways.

The prices were an important part of my search also.
