We are trying to take a more wholistic look at the War on Drugs, its history, its challenges, its need for reform and how it intersects many other issues.

To help us, we welcome Sanho Tree, director of the Drug Policy Project, which works to end the domestic and international “War on Drugs” and replace it with policies that promote public health and safety.  The intersection of race, poverty, human rights in the drug war is at the heart of the project’s work.

He also serves on the boards of Witness for Peace and the Andean Information Network.
