Welcome to THUMPIN' THURSDAYS RADIO SHOW! Today's guest is writer/poet/playwrite, Evy Trezvant. Join us as we discuss Evy's play, Wombman. Evy wrote and directed the play. Wombman's main focus is the experiences of four young girls: Maya, Anna, Vanessa and Eman, and watch them as they grow to become women. The girls become really good friends and find out quickly they have a lot in common. They seek to find their identity amidst the images and stereotypes of society. They thrive to become their own wombmen in a world of masculine dominance. They seek to find their true selves and define their own beauty through self love and acceptance.

Maya (African American) has self esteem issues and doesn’t like her body image.
Anna (Mexican American) is a people pleaser. She wants to please her mother.
Vanessa (Caucasian): Her father left her and her mother to remarry and create a new family. She has abandonment issues.
Eman (Bi-Racial) has an identity crisis. She is volatile.

Wombman is set to run Thursday-Saturday, June 10 -12 at 8pm pst And Sunday, June 13, Matinee at 2pm pst @ The Flight Theater (in The Complex) 6476 Santa Monica Blvd. Hollywood, CA. Purchase tickets @ huemanitee.org/
