We are repeating our show on racism and tolerance from last week due to the outtages experienced by BlogTalk Radio.  Join us this Thursday for a powerful discussion of how youth can stand up to racism and classism with tolerance and peace.

Our adult guest is long-time peace activist and trainer, former Captain of the Army and alumni of the Institute for Leading Diversity, Mr. Darrell Nichols.  Mr. Nichols will share his experiences of confronting the KKK and his current peace activism.  Youth guests Brittany Brooks, from Sarasota, Florida and Alex Rodriquez from San Diego, will share their powerful perspectives, respectively, as a biracial young woman in a predominantly white community, and a Mexican youth in a racially diverse city.  They will share their insights on the -isms they see, and how they have overcome these to be successful, thriving young adults.  These perspectives are critical to understanding the awareness and tools needed for youth to create a different future.

Join us as we explore questions such as: What is the youth definition of tolerance and peace? What are the benefits?  How do we learn and spread tolerance?  How should youth stand up to racism and classism?

Join us with your questions and comments on our call in line.  Or send us questions on our facebook page: Youthwise Global.
