Welcome to the Mindful Change Exchange!   I'm your host, Billie Frances, founder of Guiding Mindful Change.  It is my joy to bring us together to learn, share and grow by expanding our awareness of what is, who we are and how we choose our experiences.

Each year, all across the land, American's begin their year with resolutions.  These resolutions declare an intention to change - a habit, a job, a work ethic, a way of being in relationships or a pant size.  However, often folks report that by mid-March the "resolve" has diminished and old ways remain.

Is there another way think and behave in order to have a different result?

Our guest, Rev. Patti Paris is the Senior Minister at Vision Center for Spiritual Living in San Diego and a Certified Mindful Coach.  She is engaging, down-to-earth and highly committed to teaching and applying skills for practical spirituality for herself, her congregation and those who follow her Pod casts.

Rev. Patti will join the show to explore new perspectives goal setting...

  • The top 10 resolutions American's set each year
  • Using spiritual practice to gain clarity
  • The role of gratitude in setting goals
  • Key questions to ask before you set a goal:

What is it I want?

What am I doing that no longer supports me?

How is my shadow keeping me chained to my fears?

What do I need to do differently?

What do I need to become?
