Live in studio tracks today from The Thomas Loop Radio Show!  Noah Gokey's EP - Definition.  A two piece band was live in studio in support of Noah Gokey's new work. 

Here are the tracks and description below - 

Grim - Dark gritty folky number with a country western feel and electric guitar solos. A deeply personal song about mental illness. "Use whatever cliche fits best - darkest before dawn, the cloud with the silver lining, and so on. Sometimes the happiest moments come from the darkest places."

Definition - Dreamy indie pop with slide guitars and ethereal backup vocals over a solid back beat and hooky vocal melody. A song about the nature of being and meaning in life. Complete with a tongue in cheek lyric video where the lyrics are provided by some of the internet's most famous memes: "Pizza, free wifi, memes, driving, and everything that is good in life."

Tense Past - Spacey reggae folk rock with sometimes profound and sometimes silly lyrics. A song dedicated to mistakes and the positive effect they can have on our lives. "Never forget your mistakes, cherish them. Learn from mistakes and never regret them, because without them you are boring."

Gokey on the Wheel - Whimsical toe tapping riverboat country shuffle rock. A story about the namesake of our band, the real Noah Gokey, returning to Jamestown, NY after a successful business trip down the Mississippi. Gokey is obliged to take the wheel after the Captain has passed out drunk, and must fight shifting currents and river monsters to make it back his beloved wife.
