" I was born in a small town in NM, called Alamogordo on December 24, 1967. Although our father was in our life, he didn’t live with us. My sister was the oldest, then our brother, then me, until that tragic day that is forever burned and sketched in our memories and heart. Our Mother savagely killed our brother right in front of us.
God sent us an angel on earth in the form of a foster mother. She was already a senior citizen when she took us in, and never had any children of her own. Although she’s no longer with us, she was exactly what we needed at that stage in our lives, where we felt like trash that had been thrown away. She led us to the Lord at an early age.
Life took us in very different directions and I battled with abusive relationships and even drug addiction at one point in my life. Things didn’t work out with my first husband because he never kicked his drug habit and things at home got really bad.
Against my better judgment and because of all of the horror stories that I’ve heard about blind dates, I took a chance. I’m so glad that I did, because when you let go and let God, he pours out a blessing that you never even saw coming!"
