Moments In The Word: An Unfaithful Spouse

Phsyical and spiritual adultery are alike and danderous.  When we studied the Old Testament book of Hoesa allows us to look at the covenant relationship of marriage and the affects of unfaithfulness.  Yahweh used Hosea and his marriage to an unfaithful woman to demonstrate the relationship between the Hebrew people and Himself.  So often, when things are going "good" people are willing to stay in a marriage relationship, but let a bump or hurdle spring up.  When the storms occur in many marriages, the individuals begin to think of a "way" out.  But lets look at what Yahweh commanded of Hosea to work through his marital situation.
