Matt Virgin is the eldest of 6 children, born in Adelaide South Australia. He is currently 27 years old and comes from a background of retail, promotions and laboratory work. He has a 2yr old daughter in New South Wales Australia.

In 2013 he shared a post of his Facebook newsfeed of a woman in Tennessee who had lost her child to The Department of Child Protective Services. The family got in touch with Matt and asked if he could write letters on her behalf. After doing so responses came to Matt and so he sent more, including to local legislators and media.
After learning about the atrocities of not only American Child Protective Services but the agency around the world, in his own time studied the system from an outside point of view through documents and legislation and quickly learned that this was a large problem.
Matt has advocated for families using his knowledge around the world. He has served as a volunteer international director for two Non for Profits in the United States, reunified two families, restored access visits to several others and also had several Child Protective Services Cases closed.
Though under scrutiny sometimes, his methods seem to not only get results but Matt has made a name for himself in Child Protective Service circles through the advocation work he has done.Realizing this is a bigger problem, than just a case by case basis, decided to propose a bigger solution to a bigger picture when it comes to World Wide Child Protection.
He has had several articles on independent news outlets published about him and also done online and mainstream radio interviews exposing people’s stories that are dealing with Child Protective Services as a whole.
Future plans include filming a documentary on the theft of Native American Children of the Sovereign Reservations in the United States of America, work with legislative contacts to get legislative changes and reform CPS.
