Born in Moscow, she lived in the Soviet Union until 1991, then moved to Israel for 4 years, and to Califormia in 1995.  She's been painting for nearly 20 years.  While doing an internship at the UN, she held an exclusive one-artist show at the United Nations Secretariat in 2005.  That year, she earned a Bachelors Degree in International Policy at the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS) in Monterey, CA focusing on international negotiation and conflict resolution.  She earned her Masters there in 2006. Her work initially was inspired by personal turbulence in her life.  Drawing and painting became the outlet for expressing her feelings and thoughts.  She began with Cubism and Surrealism, then moved more into pure Expressionism.  She has developed new painting techniques, using many materials, manipulating texture and color to create a 3-dimensional effect. In 2016, Kristina spent time in Israel working with the group Smartut, which belonged to a well-known Tel Aviv artist and filmmaker, the late Hony ha Mehagel.  She is currently doing a tribute painting in honor of him, whih upon completion, will be presented to the Tel Aviv Museum of Modern Art. In 2009, she moved to the Netherlands and became a full-time artist, where she supports several charities.  She won Best Artist at Amsterdam Showcase with the Global Art Agency, in December 2012.  She has painted numerous subjects, including Donald Trump.  Over the years, her work has been displayed in the United States, France, United Kingdon, Austria, the Netherlands and Israel, and in private collections in different countries around the world.
