Wednesday 10/26 at 6:00 PM!

While in Connecticut one day looking to rent bicycles for a 20-mile ride, I found a local shop that had a great selection of bikes, and a most fascinating proprietor!

Sal Lilienthal operates Bicycle Tour Company in Kent, CT.  But he’s also written a book “Revolutionary Battles”, which details 25 tours connecting various Revolutionary War sites.  He is very knowledgeable about the historic Revolutionary War sites in Westchester County and Connecticut, and has organized bicycle tours of sites in the region.

Sal has run for Congress for the 5th District Congressional Seat in Connecticut.

With the anniversary of the Battle of White Plains upon us this week, it would be most appropriate to listen in to hear about some important local (and national) history!  Your calls are accepted at (646) 721-9605.
