The CDC also issued a checklist to help healthcare workers determine if patients are infected.

It stresses that researchers don't believe there are new cases of Ebola in the United States, but says it's only a matter of time before the virus hits home.

The checklist came a day before President Barack Obama is scheduled to visit the CDC in Atlantafor a briefing on the Ebola outbreak.The government has historically had the right to protect itself.
