    The Three Jarheads announce Benefit to Support the Troops

    Benefit comedy show to support the troops, in response to an article in thier local paper concerning a father seeking aid for his son in Afghanistan, along with the rest of his sons platoon.
    Three former Marines, AKA, "The Three Jarheads" are performing a benfit comedy show to raise funds for items needed as mentioned in the article, and through communications with Gary Emerson, the soldiers father. And Lt. Roy Emerson, the soldier mentioned in the article.

    Where: The Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre, Vacaville, Ca.
    When: Friday, October 12th at 8:00 p.m.
    Tickets: $15.00

    Attendees are encouraged to bring such comfort items as, AAA. AA and 3-Volt lithium batteries, cooking spices and herbs, paperback books, board games and playing cards, energy bars and drinks, and calling cards. As requested by Gary Emerson for his son and fellow soldiers of 4th platoon.

    Items requested by Lt. Roy Emerson and 4th platoon are all items for the children they encounter on their patrols,such as, wool socks, beanies and coats, *(these can have NO pictures or writing) pens, pencils and writing pads, crayons, coloring sets and books.
