Well, it was a valiant effort by the Falcons but unfortunately football games last 4 quarters and the Birds only played for about two and a half of them and fell to a stout 49er squad 28-24 in the friendly confines of the Georgia Dome. You have to take time to lick your wounds but now that's done, now to play GM and determine what's next.

What should the Falcons do? Say goodbye to Michael Turner or find out a way to make the defense suck a little less? Do we have to find another strong safety or do we trust William Moore to stay healthy at some point? Do we trust our offensive line that held the two meanest pass rushes in the NFL in Seattle and San Francisco to no sacks or do we upgrade? We'll take on the GM role and tell you what we would do.

The Hawks battled back from 18 down to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves at the annual MLK Day matinee but more bad news as Lou Williams is out for the year with a torn ACL. Just what are the Hawks anyway? Do they deserve our attention?

All this, Outside the A with our team member Boyd and more...it's Inside The Tent with Skrap and Rod Starr Tuesday at 9pm on Blog Talk Radio.
