Encouraged to excel at all things, Kayo poured his passion and energy into the two things he loved the most, Sports and Music. From his early days at Northeast Guilford High School, Kayo could either be found making tackles on the football field or creating musical hits as a member of the group “Official Combination” gaining notoriety throughout the Greensboro area of North Carolina. In high school Kayo was an all-area and all-county defensive back on the football team. Sports took him on a journey to Baltimore where he earned an athletic scholarship to Morgan State University and started as Cornerback all four years.
